Commercially available Nanotechnologies, their input materials and Nanotechnology enhanced products, have become actively traded commodities on the world market, much to the benefit of original developers and their investors.

A number of Australian companies are already producing considerable revenue on the international market and there are substantial opportunities within Australian, for companies and investors alike, to generate growth from Nanotechnology- all with only a limited exposure to original development risks. Experts within the industry will discuss:

  • Commercial Nanotechnology developments, opportunities and risks in our region
  • Opportunities for direct and indirect investment as well as trade in Nanotechnologies
  • Valuation of Nanotechnologies and risks involved in investing and trading
  • Investment case study
Registration
Registration include a light breakfast, refreshments and the Australia Industrial Nanotechnology report.

Industrial Nanotechnology - Opportunities and Risk is an investment focused seminar aimed at business developers, industry groups, government bodies and the investment community at large - generally, organisations who are interested in new, Nanotechnology-led growth opportunities.

This seminar has been developed in partnership with the Asia Pacific Nanotechnology Forum (APNF). The seminar special handout Australia Industrial Nanotechnology has been provided by nABACUS (nABACUS). The Industrial Nanotechnology - Opportunities and Risk seminar is supported by NSW Department State & Regional Development.

APNF International Symposium on Nanotechnology in Environmental Protection and Pollution

The Miracle Grand Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand

APNF Symposium on Nanotechnology in Environmental Protection and Pollution.
Environmental protection and pollution issues are topics, which were frequently mentioned in previous APNF conferences and workshops as topics that need to be addressed sooner than later. This has become even more relevant after the EC announced plans of compulsory testing and registration of 30,000 chemical compounds regardless of whether they are actually sold as product or only appear as intermediates in the production processes. At the same new advances emerged in the usage of Nanotechnology in environmental protection. In addition to highlighting and discussing the various topics at this symposium, a further aim is to bring together and establish an expert community in this particular area of Nanotechnology, which has not received the attention it deserves.
