The Australian National Science Graduate Conference 2006 is an initiative of

The Asia Pacific Nanotechnology Forum and The Golden Key International Honour Society.

 

Golden Key International Honour Society

 

Golden Key was established in 1977 as an international, academic not for profit organisation that encourages and supports scholastic achievement in all fields of study by providing economic assistance to its members by way of scholarships, which members comprise the top 15% of university students and graduates in nearly 350 colleges and universities in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States. Prominent supporting honorary members include John Glenn, Bill Clinton, Colin L. Powell and Ian Thorpe.

 

Asia Pacific Nanotechnology Forum

 

The Asia Pacific Nanotechnology Forum was established in 2001 as not for profit organisation that facilitates the promotion and coordination of Nanotechnology development and cross regional collaborations among Government policy makers, industry, venture capital, R&D institutions, and leading researchers. APNF has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China; the Council for Science and Technology Policy Japan; the Japan Science & Technology Corporation; the Korean Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy; the Singapore National Science & Technology Bureau; the Taiwan National Science Council, the USA National Science Foundation. APNF organised the first international Nanotechnology showcasing exhibition and conference in Australia (2003), which was supported by the Australian Government and introduced by the then Minister of Science, The Hon. Peter McGauran, MP.
